As we proudly approach our 50th year in business, it’s natural to reflect on the traditions that have shaped our journey. One tradition that holds a special place in our hearts is our annual Christmas charity donations.
At Systematic, our mission has always been about making a positive difference – not just for our clients and suppliers, but for our team and the wider community too. This ethos was championed by our founder, Nick Robey, who initiated a December tradition: amplifying our charitable giving during the festive season. Each team member selects a charity close to their heart, and we donate £100 to that cause on their behalf.
It is always fabulous to see the breadth of charities that benefit from our support each year. From renowned national organisations like Prostate Cancer UK to vital local charities such as St Andrew’s Hospice, and even newer initiatives like Andy’s Man Club, our donations make a tangible difference across a diverse spectrum of needs.
Knowing that Christmas comes with all kinds of emotions for different people, Andy’s Man Club is a charity worth highlighting. If someone in your family or circle of friends could use extra support, this is an organisation to know about. Andy’s Man Club works to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health by providing judgment-free, confidential spaces where men can openly share the challenges in their lives. With over 100 free peer-to-peer support groups across the UK, including new groups in Caistor, Brigg, Louth, Grimsby, and Lincoln, they are making it easier than ever for men to find connection and understanding. Three members of our team chose to support St Andrew’s Hospice, enabling Systematic to be recognised at their recent Light Up A Life service at Grimsby Town Hall. This was a celebration of everything St Andrew’s Hospice stands for and a day of remembrance. The donation helps to fund the essential services provided to patients and families in need of hospice care.
Earlier this year our Project Managers Justyna, Holly and Joanna spent a day volunteering at Immingham Dogs Home. This charity is also a beneficiary of our Christmas 2024 donations.
If we count you among our valued clients, thank you! Your loyalty is the backdrop to the commercials that enable us to make these donations.
Here’s a summary of the charities that received a donation, or multiple donations, from us this Christmas. We hope that these funds make a different to people and animals during and beyond this winter. Click on the links to read more about their invaluable work.
